How do I book pet-sitting or dog-walking services?
Mr Belly Rubs is currently exploring the market for a premium pet sitter app that allows you to schedule visits, get real-time updates and pictures, and chat with your pet sitter, keeping you in the loop even while you’re away.

What type of pets do you care for?
We care for just about every type of animal—except the really large ones like horses, donkeys, or cows. That doesn’t mean we won’t consider them; it simply means we want to be honest about our experience and never overpromise care we can’t confidently deliver.
We do have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, ducks, turkeys, turtles, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, birds, and more!

Do I get to meet my pet sitter or dog walker?
Absolutely! At Mr Belly Rubs Pet Services, every new client starts with a FREE Meet & Greet. It’s our chance to get to know your pets, learn their routines, and answer any questions you might have—so we can give them the best care from day one.
We operate as a trusted team, which means there’s always a backup plan if a sitter has an emergency or scheduling conflict. While your visits may be handled by different team members, we stay in close communication with each other—and with you—so your pets get consistent, loving care. More friends for them, and complete peace of mind for you.
How do I know my pet is in good hands?
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness come first—always. With over five years of hands-on experience in the pet care industry, we know what it takes to provide dependable, loving care. Every member of our team is carefully vetted and background-checked, so you can trust who’s in your home. Behind the scenes, we work as a tight-knit team—sharing notes, supporting each other, and staying connected through our app—so every visit is consistent, thorough, and full of love. At Mr. Belly Rubs, we operate with transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of care—because your pets deserve nothing less.
What areas do you service?
Our services cover the Clearfield County Region, including neighborhoods such as Clearfield, Curwensville, Houtzdale, Osceola Mills, Philipsburg, Madera, Irvona, Sandy Ridge, Woodland, Fallen Timber, Flinton, Tyrone, and Bellwood. For 2026, we may be expanding into a larger "extended" service area. However, due to travel and operating costs, additional fees will apply to those areas.
Travel limits are set to 25–30 miles from our home base in Houtzdale, PA 16651, ensuring timely service and quality attention for each pet. However, we sometimes can make exceptions if you live close to one of these areas. Please contact us to see if we can help!
What are your payment terms?
Administrative Reservation Fee: Included within the initial booking payment is a non-refundable Administrative Reservation Fee equal to 25% of the total booking cost, not to exceed $45. This fee covers scheduling, account setup, consultation time, and administrative costs associated with reserving services.
A 50% booking payment is required to reserve services and will be applied toward the final balance. The remaining balance is due before or on the first scheduled day of service. Payment must be placed in a conspicuous area, and the pet professional must be notified before arrival.
Accepted Methods: Cash or check. Credit/debit cards will be accepted once our scheduling software is in place.
Returned Checks: The client is responsible for all bank fees incurred and must reimburse Mr. Belly Rubs Pet Services for any costs resulting from a returned check. A $50 flat-rate surcharge will also be added to the final bill.
Payments not received within the timeframe described above will result in a $50 flat rate fee added to your final bill.
Tips and Gratuity: At Mr. Belly Rubs, gratuity is never required – but we certainly won’t say no! We gratefully accept any tips or other gestures of appreciation beyond the agreed-upon price. If you’re thrilled with our service, feel free to show your gratitude however (and as generously) as you’d like – there’s never any pressure. 100% of all tips and gratuity go directly to your Pet Professional; Mr. Belly Rubs keeps nothing.
Your pet’s safety—and ours—is always the top priority. In cases of extreme weather (heat, cold, lightning, heavy rain, etc.), outdoor services may be modified for safety.
Extreme Conditions: Excessive heat, cold, lightning, heavy rain, or other weather risks may modify outdoor services.
Modified Service: During Extreme Conditions, activities may be adjusted—like indoor playtime or a shorter walk. The full service fee still applies, so your pet stays happy, safe, and cared for no matter the weather.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens! Here’s how our cancellation policy works:
Company-Initiated Cancellations: If we are unable to provide a service, you will not be charged. Full refunds will be issued if payment was already made, and/or a courtesy discount for a future visit may be offered.
Standard Cancellations: 30+ days before service: Refund issued minus the Administrative Reservation Fee
Late Cancellations: 15–29 days before service: 50% refund of payments made, minus the Administrative Reservation Fee
Last-Minute Cancellations: 7–14 days before service: 25% refund of payments made, minus the Administrative Reservation Fee
Too Late To Cancel: Less than 7 days, same-day cancellation, or no-show: No refund issued
